(D) Any entity offering the prelicensure education required to obtain a real estate license in this state shall, prior to a student's enrollment in a class, notify the student of both of the following: (1) That a conviction of a criminal offense may disqualify an individual from obtaining a real estate license; (2) The student's rights under section 9.78 of the Revised Code to request a determination as to whether such a conviction will disqualify the student. (C) A licensee acting as a seller's agent shall provide the seller with the brokerage policy on agency described in this section prior to marketing or showing the seller's real estate and shall obtain a signature from the seller acknowledging receipt unless the seller refuses to provide a signature. If the information concerning rentals furnished by the licensee is not current or accurate, the full fee shall be repaid or refunded to the prospective tenant upon demand.
