We're still really, really hurting for experience, and having it split between two party members is the LAST thing we need right now. You see, once you get a new item, you can never change it's position in the menu until you run out of that item. Whether this was by accident or not (monster stats are hard to screw up, but the Elnard levels could have been a piece of data mistakenly deleted while other data was being shifted around), it ended up making the game far harder than it was intended to be even so, I still don't believe it's that bad.
